In response to customer requests and with ever-increasing demand from the offshore wind industry, SeaSafe’s own Pro-Zip 275N lifejacket will be at Seawork 2014.
The lifejacket, which has passed rigorous testing to ISO12402 standard, is of the same design as the well-known Pro-Zip 150N. Having a removable cover means it can be changed if it becomes dirty or damaged rather than buying a completely new lifejacket.
The company manufactures its lifejackets from its premises in Cowes, Isle of Wight. In 2013, SeaSafe made a significant investment in its premises, including the installation of a state-of-the-art conveyor cutting machine with an up-to-date computerised nesting system. This has enabled the company to manufacture more quickly, comply with customers’ requirements more easily and make production using Computer Aided Design patterns more efficient.
Further investment has also been made in staffing over last 18 months.
In 2014, with a buoyant order book, a well-established lifejacket service facility and site modernisation, SeaSafe says it is looking forward to the future and welcoming customers at this year’s Seawork exhibition.
